This is an excellent quality piece of glass, particularly great for protecting expensive filters and lenses when filming in adverse conditions. The best of all the ones I’ve had to date. Highly recommended, very good value.

I picked these up to downsize the hilariously large Formatt Hitech filter pouches and these take up so much less space. The rigid cases are great for keeping my filters safe and I like that there is foam padding inside to keep the filters from rattling around. Very pleased with these.

Used on dual Sony Burano's for a stunt heavy film. The Director of Photography was using scarf dust filters on each camera. I was just blown away by how it blooms the highlights and just adds a little bit more red to skin tones and just makes all the skin tones pop that much harder. Really phenomenal filter, made me go buy a matte box kit and a filter just so I can implement it in my films. Nice job Revar!!! Keep coming up with individual different than the norm filters.

I love this linear polarizing filter in combo with the circular pola from Revar to make the perfect variable ND. No color cast across the spectrum no matter how deep you rotate through exposure. The glass is pristine and matched for accuracy, it's become an absolute go-to part of my kit. Can't recommend this setup enough!

I love the worm hole for specialty portrait effects. The 138 filter is quickly and easily put in front of my lens to create a unique circular fall off on the outside image of the lens. I recently just used in a film that premiered at Hollyshorts and people were asking me what lens I used for those shots…. It was a special lens it was my Wormhole!

We have been shooting some high speed content for tool manufacturers and the optical filters have been great for protecting the lenses for flying metal chips. We have additional clear filters for effects using removable diffusion spray, fishing line and other objects in front of the lens for specific looks and feelings we have tested for narrative work. These are high quality (as are all Revar Cine products we have purchased) and a great value.

I purchased several batches of these PA Tears and the salt content was not what I was expecting. If you've ever made a PA cry on set and tasted their tears you'll know where I'm coming from.
Crying locations PAs a silent lock-up does not make.
Honestly though, using this filter yields dramatically better results than carefully smearing the lens with Vaseline.
